Hello,
I have made a vector shape on the fly with the vertexlist defined by the
path of the dragged mouse. However, I would like to use this as a selection
tool, utilising the intersects command.ie Mousedown and dragging on the
stage selects some fields . For some reason i don't seem to be able to
apply the matte ink effect ? why doesn't the white disappear ?
When i use the background transparent i can get rid of the white but
intersects() is triggered when the rectangles meet not when the outline of
the drawn sprite collides with another sprite.
Has anyone experienced this collision problem with vectors ?
Is there maybe a way of converting the vector to a bitmap ?
Am i missing the obvious ?
any thoughts, appreciated.
