I don't know about all this swRemote stuff (never used it), but the
syntax here looks weird to me. Looks as though you (or
someone/something) just plopped the sw1 = "1" thing right in the
middle of the swRemote attribute's value string. I would take a
closer look at the HTML above and, seems to me, move that sw1 setting
somewhere else in the tag, like at the end or whatever. There's no
reason I'm aware of that the external params should fail in Netscape,
assuming your HTML code is correctly formatted!
