we think we found it.
it has to do with the size of the name of the folder in which the
presentation lives.

for some reason, if the name is too long, it will play off the hard
drive, but not the CD, even when it's the same name in both cases.

something to watch out for.

anyhoo i gots another problem, so look for it in a posting near you!!!
