hi eric,
i doubt that either your file size of the director
movie must have become heavy (definetly there must be
some diffrence in the elements that u must have used
in d7 and d8 movie).
or maybe ur d8 application itself may have become
defective so u can reinstall it.
alternatively why dont u convert it to swa formate
using xtras>convert to swa or in d8 u can import it
after converting to mp3 format also.
and for more smooth playback u can use sound play file
command to play it by keeping the sound file external.
