Interesting...
You could then have two bitmaps, one with the actual image and one with just
the colours for the hotspots/hotareas, put the first in channel one, the
second in channel 2 and give it a blend value of 0. Just as long as you
don't run out of colours... We'll call it the "Rainbow Map" approach ;)
