Thanks Tom and Bjarne,

You see, since I author on the PC and use a runtime Xtras folder (as opposed
to embedding them in the projector), I need a place to keep all the bits of
the project together - mac and pc, projectors and Xtras. One place would be
my own computer, another place would be the server. But since it's an NT
server, it's basically another PC... Also, If I use the network to copy
stuff over to the server, I can't use my pc, and have to look for an
available mac to do the networking from (the only way so far to preserve the
association).
The other day I had to run around gathering bits and pieces from different
locations to burn a hybrid CD-Rom, instead of just copying the whole CD
structure from my pc :/

Totally annoying, isn't it?

I'm not sure if for my purposes it's easier then using someone else's mac,
but I'll keep it in mind for later.

It's not the end of the world, I was just hoping there's some sort of
Cross-Platform doctoring application out there that can keep the
associations intact, since neither "Here and Now" (for reading mac volumes)
nor "Pc MacLan" (for cross platform networking) seem to do the trick here.

Anyone wants to write one? ;)
