I have Director 5 and wish to use some GIF animations in my production,
however Dir5 apparently does not import animations otherthan avi and such.
I was forced to breakdown the animation into a series of BMPs which I
imported into Dir and stores in the cast area.
Onion-skinning sprite animation seems to be the best option for my purposes.
I would like to use one frame for the background and animate the sprite over
it probably through Lingo alone.
Can I get the basic script for animating the sprite animation? Where does
this script go? If I place a loop in that one frame, how does lingo animate
those series of images in cast which make up the sprite animation and place
this animation on the one frame?
Any suggestions and source is greatly appreciated.
