Yep :)
Director can be programmed to do ANYTHING, provided you have the right Xtra
and the right hardware.
Say your home appliance comes with software that accepts control codes sent
via a computer's serial port. All you need then is to get hold of the
manual, a serial port Xtra such as "directCom" - and Bob's your uncle :)
I'm not joking. I already managed to control a lighting system, a Philips
Pro DVD and a projector exactly like this.
Who's to say my next project won't include a Coffee Maker? ;)
