This could also conceivably be happening if the machine is out of RAM.
Picture of member is RAM intensive and Macromedia recommends that it only
be used during authoring.
if you can upgrade to Dir8, you can use image instead:
myImage = member("Canvas").image
member("Undo_Canvas").image = myImage
I'm not sure that this approach presents less of a problem as picture of
member, but I think that's correct.
