You know, I think I remember Macromedia announcing back at SigGraph last
year that they were going to partner with Intel to put 3D into Shockwave. I
can't say what their timeline is--check their site and see if there's any
information there.
Of course, if you need it, like, now, go with the Xtra. We, the general
public, have no way of knowing if that 3-D effort will bear fruit in 6
months or 5 years.
