Insert->Control->ActiveX->Windows Media Player will add a WMP castMember
to your cast. You'll be able to examine whichever methods, properties,
and events are supported in the version that's on your machine. Last I
checked, Microsoft hasn't released a control for v7, much less v8, but
v6.4.09 works beautifully.
Look for details on the control's API usage on MSDN. Again, this is
PC-only.
