you could do the whole crazy thing with one big bitmap and lots of
imaging lingo...
otherwise that's a whole heck of a lot of sprites. one way to do it is
to make a filmloop or linked movie containing one row of 50 squares, and
use 50 sprites of that linked movie to make the 50 rows....
