What do you mean by cutting them up in the paint window? You should do all
the work in Photoshop for the best results. (save them as 32bit TIFs if you
don't have a Photoshop Xtra like Photocaster)

Subject: <lingo-l> cutting up transparency images

i'm importing photoshop images with alpha channels into director 8.
everything seems to work fine but when i cut them up in the paint window
to make rollovers they get some kind of a weird glow to them. does
anyone know how to solve this problem?

thanks.
paul
