The way typical Audio/Multimedia combo CD's are done is to put the audio in track 1 
(and 2 and 3, etc.), then the audio CD player
will recognize it but the CD-ROM on your computer will still be able to play the 
multimedia from the last track.

nope, but I have used the CD Xtra from Penworks.com to play CD audio.
it works well & is free.
