I haven't seen a resolution to this thread, but I'm interested in both the legal and technical aspects of the issue. Is it technically possible to export an embedded font? What's the technology? An embedded font is said to be compressed... which probably also translates into "encrypted," because otherwise the font copyright owner would complain that this is unlicensed redistribution of their product.
