I believe that the resuliton of the issue basically came down to "Embedding a
font changes the font, because Director 'simplifies' the font just a touch, so
getting the Arial* font that is in the Fonts folder temporarily during execution
isn't quite the same as the Arial font, so it's not the same thing."
You will notice that embedding a font may cause some changes to the font in
question.
