I am also having similar problems with freezing Mpeg2 Videos.
I have been able to isolate a part of the problem by figuring out that
NVIDIA Video Graphics Cards have some problems with playing Mpeg2 files,
which freezes the screen after some time. I have about 250 Mpeg2 videos
which i have to play which are pixel doubled, which usually freeze after
playing for some time. This i am talking, after having 32 megs of Video Ram.
The client specs are still lower.
