Me either, and I've used them on occasion. I suppose it's because the 
properties are part of their own container (the property list) rather than 
part of the global space?

Still, have you ever seen problems/issues with the use of reserved words 
for variables, global or otherwise? I always avoid that, but I know I've 
seen scripts that do it.
