hi again,
i probably wasn't clear enough on what i wanted to do. When the boat is
clicked on, rather than just changing the locV and it just moving downwards
it needs to play an actual animation - for example a whale might jump out of
the sea and swallow the boat. That is why i wanted to use the flash
animations in director. Is there an easy way of doing this? i was thinking
that when the user clicked on the boat, it would store the locX and locV and
go to another frame and put the animation in the same place, but I don't
know if this is possible or not,
