Hi Buzz, I just asked my fellow Lingo-smith (him with his faltering Lingo-shell-shocked memory), and he said something about it was 7.0.1, or 7.xx.xx, or some such?! Anyway, since we're mainly creating/manipulating vertex/vector objects via Lingo, we've simply learned to stay away from the editor window! :) (This with Dir8.5 on our Win2K machines, running Matrox G450) Chris -----Original Message----- From: Buzz Kettles [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, 20 September 2001 1:25 pm To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: Chris Hancock; Peri Subject: RE: <lingo-l> vector shape window Chris your colleague must be mistaken about how long this problem has existed. There never was a Director v7.5. btw: There are other vector window display problems that occur when stretching any vector handle beyond the edge current window boundaries (autoscrolling happens & then the whole vector vanishes). Also then that handle can no longer be accessed, because scrolling to it causes the entire handle display to vanish. As far as I know this problem occurs on all platforms & the only workaround is to shrink the vector graphic (zoom it smaller), then adjust the handle however you want, & then zoom the whole thing larger again. -Buzz At 9:26 AM +1000 9/20/01, Chris Hancock wrote: >I logged the bug with MM yesterday - and yes it does happen with even the >simplest of actions, after which the entire application display starts >magically disappearing - usually as you're trying to select and move >existing vertex points around.
