i'am new to this list... 1 month... but no questions asked yet....too much to read!!!
I have 2 little questions.
- I was experimenting with particle emittors..
I've remarked than when changing the blending % or rgb values, it also have some
influence on the already "borned' particles....
I'am looking for a way to let live en die the already made particles.
what i want to achieve:
Right now, i have an exaustsystem demo of a car, the interface is a gaspedal, the
model seen is the rear of the car with 2 exaust
pipes.
The sprite animation of the gas pedal changes the settings of the emitter,
fulltrottle, redyellow, iddle, bit grey...
The problem is than when the pedal comes back to upper position, the script works just
fine, but the emitter starts again from zero and
delete the
already moving particles.... i want the smoke already born stay "on air'...
I can turn arround the problem by adding 2 different particles generators, but there
must be a way to add a sort of trail script to the
emittor...
- Also, i'am looking for a way to make the 3dw file transparant... just to be able to
integrate 3d objects into or above a static
background...
Anyone?
