Is anybody aware of a better "Tickertape" behavior than the one that ships
with Director. In that one, text appears/disappears word by word, which
makes it jumpy. I'd like to do a tickertape that appears/disappears letter
by letter and that moves smoothly. I'd also like to be able to change the
text immediately (upon rollovers), interrupting the current message. With
the old behavior, the new message doesn't appear until the old one is done.

Just thought I'd ask rather than try to re-invent the behavior myself, if
there's a good one out there already.
