Hi Mark,
In Director 7, Text members had no wordWrap property which could be set
to FALSE. The result was that the tickertape message wrapped to the
next line, and only appeared word by word. You can get a better result
in Director 7 by using a field member instead. If you are using
Director 8.0 or above, you can move the line...
myMember. wordWrap = FALSE
... out of the case statement in the Initialize handler, so that it is
applied to both field and text members.
