While all of what Charlie says here is true, it leaves you in the
place of trying to launch a PDF using an application that you don't
know if it is there on the user's machine or not. The user is quite
likely to end up with an error message of some kind, which is not
really very good form. <grin> On top of that you may have a case where
you try to open a PDF created in a recent version of Acrobat, with an
older Reader.
Using MasterApp, Buddy or the PDF Xtra will make for a much more
professional and elegant user experience.
