I've been able to find tech notes about 3D collision that happened too late
-- with delays etc. And I've been looking extensively through the tutorial
files... but for the life if me, I've not found anything that discusses
collisions too soon.
I have a map and a character that I created in 3D Studio Max and have him
running everywhere inside, but the character's collision call back is
detecting collisions with walls and objects well before he reaches them.
I've narrowed it down to a single cone in the maze and him for collision call
backs, and sure enough there's a range just before they reach each other that
it detects a "collision". I'm hoping this is just something simple I'm
missing or haven't set up right. Anyone have any suggestions or tech notes
to point to?
