Hi Colin, I responded before with no luck so lets try again.
I am actually having it optional. It is checking to see if their res is below 800 x 600 then popping a dialog saying at lease 800 x 600 is required do you want us to change it for you now, yes/no. It should also throw another alert message if there isn't a compatible res. It is not forcing them to downgrade their res to 800 x 600 nor is the projector scaling so it will always be the same height/width. My only problem with the Resolution Xtra is that it seems to be crashing Director/Windows and any string or text member I have set to ""/Empty it throws all sorts of garbage in it. Messing things up for me ;). Thanks Bill >If you do go ahead and force it to 800x600, can you make it optional? >I mostly use LCD screens, as do many people these days, and scaling a >800x600 program to work on a native 1024 x 768 LCD doesn't give as >nice looking results. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/LUJ/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Lingo-L is for learning and helping with programming Lingo.
