Well, I'm glad to see someone taking such pleasure at one of my posts ;-) Let me rephrase that. ActionScript is Flash's native programming language, and it has some provisions for handling Lingo. It does not, though, have anything approaching a complete implementation of the Lingo interpreter. I try to answer the questions on the list in the way I perceive them as being asked. The question was, essentially, if ActionScript and Lingo are interchangeable. The answer is no. Interoperable, yes. But it would be foolish to try to program a Flash piece in Lingo, or a Director piece in ActionScript. Cordially, Kerry Thompson [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/LUJ/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Lingo-L is for learning and helping with programming Lingo. Thanks!]
