hi list -- This question might be because i am new to director but ... i have 4 sounds, each i have puppeted to the sound channel [1..4] so no sounds reside in the score. They are puppeted on mouse click. Only on a laptop running windows 2000 am i having issues. it distorts any sound outside of the first 2 channels. i have moved the sound around, played them seperately ect. all are fine. I am thinking i am some how not understanding this concept. Windows has 4 available channels, Macs have 8. I have tested all of the sound device settings to see if that may be the problem but no difference. What am i doing wrong? --carol
