Thanks for the reply. I have decided to use AIFF files converted to mono at
22 kHz 16-bit uncompressed. All the director compatible compression options
in peak add too much noise. Since I'm only using cue points in the voice
over i was hoping to use mp3 for the music and get those file sizes down.

What I've got is workable though.
