This may be pretty basic, but I was under the assumption that director used the externally linked scripts in the same way it used the externally linked graphics.
But in usage recently, when I tried to send some updated scripts via email to the usability testing team in another state, those scripts didn't seem to be used at all. (The .dir files weren't even protected.) As if the looking at the externally linked scripts is only something being done during authoring. So, shipping a product that was developed with externally linked scripts is safe, because you don't even have to change their linking status in director, you just delete them after protecting. So, externally linked scripts are only used during Authoring, correct? roymeo [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/LUJ/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Lingo-L is for learning and helping with programming Lingo.
