It looks like I'm not the only experienced programmer who doesn't really 
use the @ symbol. (or at least not when setting searchpaths)


from my latest Lingo.ini

if (the platform contains "Wind") then
   tChar = "\"
else
   tChar = ":"
end if
(the searchpaths).add(the applicationPath & "Files" & tChar)
(the searchpaths).add(the applicationPath & "Files" & tChar & "FolderA" & 
tChar)

It looks like from your example, you have
projector.exe
Files folder in the same folder as the projector
and inside the files folder, you have FolderA

If these assumptions are correct, the bit above should work.
