Sorry if you have read this already although I think it might have got swamped by the spam yesterday - it is really important to me. I get the following error when on opening director exe files on a nt 4 workstation (running service pack 6) can anybody shed any light on this situation?? (I have logged on as the administrator and the machine is not networked in any case) The file trys to start, produces the error log and then shuts down. Does NT run Director exes? This is the error message: exception:access violation(0xc0000005).address: 0x0802d44f The error occurrs with ANY Director exe file - I could paste in the error log if this is helpful... Thanks in advance Iain
