Sorry Col. I'm new to Director, could you explain what you mean by "union
the rect of the filmloop's original sprite rects"?

Pretty sure this property can't be set. Best you can do is diddle 
with it's loc on the stage.

One approach is to union the rect of the filmloop's original sprite 
rects. With this info you can position the filmloop on the stage at 
its original location.
