can you not use the unload function?

I.e. sprite(sprite_number_here).unload()

Dunno if that is right but its worth a go!

Subject: <lingo-l> Reclaiming memory from Flash Sprites

My D8.5 project has some Flash5 sprites (3 to 6 buttons on each screen
and one exercise has an additional 6 Flash sprites that are controlled
frame-by-frame by Lingo (which gets really slow really fast)).

My understanding is that each instance of a flash sprite gets an
instance of the Flash player in RAM. If this is so, how do I clear these
FlashPlayer instances out of RAM when I'm done with them?
