Hi there everyone, I wonder if anyone can help me out?
I am running a shockwave movie locally and i have tried various ways of trying to bring in text from an external file (FileIO, ImportText, filename etc - all of which I later realised, do not work!) The only one that sort of works is the getNetText function, however this will only work when the file is on a web server and you use an http:// address to access it. However, neither of these files are actually going to run on a server, so is there any way I can run this locally? Also, it can't be a projector, it has to be a dcr file. I hope someone can explain this!
