Friends,
I'm producing a game that will have a number of things displayed on
different objects (models) in the view port. I've been trying to keep as
much text as possible on the interface outside the 3D sprite, but some things
will need to be displayed right near or on the models.
Of course this text does need to be dynamic, so I need some system that
will take the text from a text member and display it for the 3D world...
The big question is: What's the fastest/best way to get the text in
there.

The two answers I'm working with are A) making a graphic of the text and
creating a texture out of it for a "text box" model, or B) extruding the text
as a 3D object. Are there any ways to make these ideas better? Is there any
other ways?

Thanks in advance
    BBoy
