I am looking at having ANU computer students use Microsoft Copilot.
This would use a technique demonstrated at a recent University of
Sydney symposium, where you have the students critique and improve on
the output from AI:

Several universities at the event said they had their own generative
AI installed for privacy. Some trained the AI on course materials so
the system would answer questions in terms of the specific topic.
Perhaps the APS could do the same, so the AI would talk bureaucrat. ;-)

This is a bit like the evolution of the web.
First orgs were possesive then they realised if they put nothing on Web
they did not exist
Long before the Web we had vaporware and confidentiality agreements.
So, if you don't feed in your propaganda/framing/spin then you don't exist.
AI is not learning from the Real World but what is mediated to it.
