I beg your pardon, that remark was ambiguously worded. I meant:
"How is [NBN bought back poles and wires and tunnels for cables from privatised
Optus and Telstra.] of more than passing relevance?"
If I remember correctly, buying back those poles & wires and tunnels & cables
was an essential part of Tony Abbott's misconceived multi-technology-mix
solution, and I'm sure the owners of the said hardware were only too pleased to
unload it!!! That project must surely rank as a fine example of how such
decisions should not be left to pollies and business.
