Does the Amazon Dash also have a radio beacon for the quad-copter to home in on, when delivering the groceries? ;-) More seriously, I assume there are already Apps to allow you to scan product codes, create a shopping list and send it off to the on-line store of your choice (or to the phone of your partner). No doubt the head mounted cameras, such as Google Glass, will have this shopping feature: just look at a product and say "order one!". Perhaps products could use steganography to have codes hidden in them so you could just look at someone and say "I want those shoes!". -- Tom Worthington FACS CP, TomW Communications Pty Ltd. t: 0419496150 The Higher Education Whisperer http://blog.highereducationwhisperer.com/ PO Box 13, Belconnen ACT 2617, Australia http://www.tomw.net.au Liability limited by a scheme approved under Professional Standards Legislation Adjunct Senior Lecturer, Research School of Computer Science, Australian National University http://cs.anu.edu.au/courses/COMP7310/ _______________________________________________ Link mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/link
