In the context of health, those who promote blockchain as a mechanism for storing medical records have not the foggiest idea about healthcare or health data. They think (or at least they say) that blockchain can solve the problems of security, privacy and interoperability. This is naive in the extreme. The real problems of health data are all about the content, not the transport/storage mechanisms. Which is exactly the same issue that Kim identifies in the context of currencies. Beware technology vendors selling solutions. Their solutions may well not solve your problem. -- Regards brd Bernard Robertson-Dunn Canberra Australia email: [email protected] web: www.drbrd.com web: www.problemsfirst.com _______________________________________________ Link mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.anu.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/link
