Yes, but there are a few useful ideas in blockchain, for a limited range of applications.

The Australian Computer Society released a series of reports on Blockchain over the last year (I am on the ACS Blockchain Committee):

1. White-paper "Blockchain Challenges for Australia" (June 2019): https://blog.tomw.net.au/search/label/blockchain

2. Blockchain 2030: A Look at the Future of Blockchain in Australia, prepared by CSIRO (April 2019): https://blog.tomw.net.au/2019/04/blockchain-2030-report.html

3. Blockchain Innovation: A Patent Analytics Report, by IP Australia (November 2018) https://www.ipaustralia.gov.au/sites/default/files/reports_publications/acs-blockchain-report_0.pdf

More on blockchain in my blog: https://blog.tomw.net.au/search/label/blockchain
