But it doesn't have CSS and adding CSS would be costly. 

I suggested to add a function "Launch external browser" for pages which
cannot be browsed without Javascript, AJAX, CSS, Flash and other
Nobel-Prize-for-Lack-of-Elegance technologies. But Mikulas doesn't want to
write it, he says he doesn't need it :)

I would hook up Firefox to this hotkey :)

Actually what Mikulas said about the Javascript - 38 places with the same
code - that can be solved with so called code refactoring - you find these
pieces, write a function for them, commit it and only then continue debugging.
