Hi, No linphone doesn't work with stereo, as usually microphones are mono only. Does the arecord -f S16_LE -r 8000 |aplay -f S16_LE -r 8000 also works with mono ?
Could you try with another soundcard ? I still think it's a problem with this alsa driver.
