dasdftm hangsGrand 2002 People,
Been there had this one late in Dec2001. There is a fix available from SuSE. I'm
at home at the moment but Bernd have you got your ears on ???

Yes, there is at least a related changelog that I've found that describes
a crash after formatting a device.
If you would try a kernel with all fixes until the last drop, I'll send
it to you in a separate mail.

We ran into Problems formatting a 3390 Model 9 Minidisk (one cylinder less
than model 9) with dasdfmt (s390-tools-4 -patch).
At the end it says "Finished formatting the device rereading partition
table".... and then dasdftm hangs.
