According to "man printcap' in your /etc/printcap file you can specify the name of an "accounting file". The parameter is "af". Just what information gets written into this file, I don't know. It may very well be that you'll need to also specify the name of an "accounting filter" using "if" and write some script code to write to the accounting file.
