Hi, I'm having a problem with the installation of SuSE V7.2 (Kernel V2.4.7) via NFS.
I'm using YaST and the installation stops after approx. 20 packages installed with the following message: "Size missmatch for file /var/adm/mount/suse/setup/descr/common.pkd Old: 523007 New: 0 YaST will abort." When leaving YaST I get this: "Program aborted! xntp - Network Time Protocol daemon (version 4) Tue Jan 22 08:30:26 2002 ERROR: Unknown Error!, DETAIL: 0 FILE: IFile.cc LINE: 162 Unmounting /mnt... umount: /mnt: device is busy YaST finished." When restarting YaST the installation will continue from where the abortion took place, but will stop again after a few more packages installed. This scenario is repeated for every restart of YaST. I have tried to use another set of CD-rom, which I used to install on VM/ESA V2.3 without this problem, so I consider the CD-rom is Okay for reading. Any hint of this problem? I'm running z/VM 4.2 in an IFL-engine (2064-machine). I increased the size for the Linux-machine from 64Mb to 128Mb and also increased the page-size as it's reaching above 95%. But still the same problem with YaST. Regards Bertil Starck
