Hi Phil,

I'm planning on implementing LVM and wasn't aware that there were an
instabilities. Can you comment on what instabilities exist at this time?
Are they platform (S/390) specific?

Due to the instability and frequent changes of the LVM code it was decided
to be
not included in the Red Hat 7.2 release for any architecture.

We will look into this matter again for the next release and will most
likely
include a LVM implementation including tools etc.

Read ya, Phil
