People having trouble installing Oracle 9i Developers' on their systems are told that only SuSE SLES7 is what they'll get help with on their Linux Oracle forum. Thus, if you want to evaluate Oracle you can't do it by picking up the freely available 7.0. This may lead to a situation where you need to evaluate Oracle to show your management that Linux is viable but you can't demonstrate it without having established its viable so you can get someone to pay for it. Catch 22.
