Ken,

You can use any directory in your FTP server tree that you like.  The Red
Hat installer allows you to specify the exact FTP directory needed to access
the installation files.  Just make sure that the directory is available to
anonymous FTP users, or you'll have to specify a userid and password during
the install.

I HAVE JUST DOWNLOADED all THE REDHAT OS390 FILES TO MY DESKTOP 60 GIG.
REMOVABLE DISK.

I HAVE A FTP SERVER ON IT AND WANT TO TAKE IT TO ANOTHER INSTALLATION TO
SERVE AS A FTP SERVER.

So the question is:  what dir do I need to load up to the ftp server so
when I load the boot strap kernel in for 7.2 onto my IBM 7060 Lpared
platform do I use ??
