Terry,

You should only have to recompile the c7000 module with the current kernel
source to get what you want. That's how I did it for my Red Hat system when
it moved to a 2.4 kernel.

Subject: CLAW driver for SuSE beta

Where can we get a CLAW module that will run under the beta 2.4.7 SuSE
kernel?

/sbin/insmod -v c7000 base0=0x9250 lhost0=VSYSA uhost0=NJY401A lappl
0=TCPIP

Using /lib/modules/2.4.7-SuSE-SMP/net/c7000.o
Symbol version prefix 'smp_'
/lib/modules/2.4.7-SuSE-SMP/net/c7000.o: kernel-module version mismatch
        /lib/modules/2.4.7-SuSE-SMP/net/c7000.o was compiled for kernel
version
2.4.9-0.11
        while this kernel is version 2.4.7-SuSE-SMP.
